How it All Started

With both founders having careers in marketing lasting over a decade, in 2005, Kristen Harris and Catherine Lang-Cline created Portfolio Creative to make it easier for companies to find marketing and creative talent. Their goal was to be partners for their clients and advocates for talent, eliminating the time required to find the best skill sets and culture match, negotiate pricing, and handle all of the back-end paperwork. Offering an easier way to recruit, deep industry knowledge about client needs, and a true love of all things marketing, Portfolio Creative quickly became staffing and recruiting with a purpose that benefits the entire creative community.
