We are seeking a talented and versatile Event Photographer/Videographer to capture dynamic and engaging content at events for a 55+ housing community with multiple locations in the Columbus area. This role involves a mix of candid and posed photography, as well as short video clips tailored for social media and web platforms.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a premier community developer redefining active adult living.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Capture high-quality still photographs and short videos at resident events.
Work in both candid and posed settings, ensuring natural and authentic moments are preserved.
Focus on creating content for social media and web, keeping clips short and engaging.
Perform basic retouching, including lighting and color adjustment, without extensive editing.
Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure all critical moments and key shots are captured.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Proven experience in event photography and videography.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for light photo retouching.
Strong understanding of photo direction and the ability to capture both posed and candid moments.
Experience with video creation, keeping content short and impactful.
EVENT INSIGHTS:
Events typically take place in the evenings (5-9 PM) during the week.
The first event will be held on October 4th, 5-7 PM for Oktoberfest.
Photographers may choose to cover events at any of the following locations:
Grove City
Dublin
Pickerington
Delaware
Centerville
