ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Designer to help revamp and enhance an existing website. This is a part-time, contract position ideal for someone with a keen eye for design, a strategic mindset, and the technical expertise to execute impactful website improvements.

 

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client specializes in creating some of the most powerful and historic advertising, marketing, and branding campaigns in the industry. Their work spans diverse sectors, including fashion, beauty, healthcare, automotive, transportation, fast food, restaurants, and cannabis. With a legacy of impactful campaigns, they transform visions into influential brand narratives that resonate across industries.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Website Overhaul: Redesign and update the existing WordPress site to improve usability, functionality, and visual appeal.

  • Content Suggestions: Identify and implement essential features, such as a “Contact Us” page, to gather customer information effectively.

  • Video Integration: Embed video content from Vimeo seamlessly into the website.

  • Case Studies: Create and add a section for showcasing six pre-prepared case studies.

  • Design Consistency: Maintain the bold type aesthetic currently in use while introducing new elements that align with the site’s visual identity.

  • SEO Awareness: While SEO is not a primary focus, ensure updates follow basic SEO best practices to support site visibility.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proven experience designing and customizing WordPress websites.

  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.

  • Familiarity with embedding multimedia content (e.g., Vimeo videos).

  • Ability to provide strategic recommendations to enhance site functionality and user engagement.

  • Basic understanding of SEO is a plus, though not required.

PREFERRED

  • Experience working with creative or small business websites.

  • Ability to work independently and propose thoughtful, client-centered solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and feedback.
