Portfolio Creative is Hiring for a PT Payroll & Benefits Specialist

This part-time position will focus on supporting the back office functions for our staffing and recruiting agency. This entry-level role requires strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for working with people and numbers. Work experience or internships in banking, accounting, human resources, or office management are a major plus.

What we need you to do:

  • ·         Import and process talent payroll
  • ·         Notify talent of missing timesheets
  • ·         Submit time entry reports to clients
  • ·         Respond to basic benefit questions from talent via email and phone
  • ·         Keep all talent benefit information up-to-date
  • ·         Identify and investigate new benefit offerings
  • ·         Review benefit rosters and expenditure reports for accuracy
  • ·         Create benefit packets that are distributed to talent
  • ·         Complete unemployment benefit requests and record payments

What we are looking for:

  • This position is an onsite part-time, MTWF from 10-2 or 11-3
  • We are a Mac office but can train a PC user and have an office cat
  • Having a creative outlet or background is a plus
