Job #8693 | Hybrid — 2 days in office, 3 days remote (Columbus, OH area only) | Full-Time | Contract (6 months, potential to extend)
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys living inside a system — configuring, organizing, troubleshooting, and making things work with precision. The Learning Management System Coordinator supports two LMS platforms within a large corporate Learning & Development team, working closely with one senior L&D specialist to keep course content configured correctly, systems running smoothly, and internal stakeholders supported. If you find satisfaction in detailed, focused work and take pride in getting things exactly right, this role is built for you.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a large, globally recognized organization in the consumer health and nutrition industry. Their internal L&D team operates with an agency-style model, supporting learning programs across multiple departments and external healthcare audiences. Accuracy, documentation, and platform reliability are central to how this team operates.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure and build course content across two LMS platforms, working from detailed course packets that include descriptions, settings, navigation rules, and course files
- Test configured courses thoroughly and coordinate with stakeholders to complete validation before launch
- Support employees and internal administrators who have questions or encounter issues within the learning systems
- Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with developers, IT teams, and business partners to drive resolution
- Monitor incoming requests and manage a personal queue of configuration and support tasks
- Maintain accurate user data, system records, and process documentation
- Flag and escalate API or integration issues to the appropriate technical teams
- Update and maintain documentation as processes evolve — especially important in a contract capacity
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working inside a complex software platform in an administrative or operational capacity — LMS, HRIS, CRM, SaaS, or similar
- Exceptional attention to detail — errors in configuration can create significant downstream problems and this role requires someone who catches them before they do
- Comfortable working independently for extended periods with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and cross-functional coordination
- Able to follow detailed, multi-step instructions precisely and consistently
- Comfortable interfacing with technical teams without needing to be technical yourself
- Based in the Columbus, OH area — hybrid schedule requires regular in-office presence
BONUS SKILLS
- Experience with Meridian or any enterprise LMS platform
- Familiarity with how learning packages, APIs, or course file formats work at a basic level
- Background in training coordination, L&D operations, or program administration
